P & L re-imagined the way news was covered in this country with the creation of Fox’s A Current Affair and Paramount’s Hard Copy. They followed by creating the Good Day New York franchise, a brand that has spread to Fox stations across the country. P&L re-invented the face of daytime television with the creation of Judge Judy, the number one show in syndication.

In 2007 P&L Media won the first-ever Emmy in the outstanding legal/courtroom program. The first of eight Emmys including Cristina's Court, Last Shot With Judge Gunn and Judge Judy.
